Because I studied in the logistics industry, of course, there was a period of time when I really didn’t know what I was going to do because what I could do in this industry was very broad. Besides the seemingly exaggerated things like working in import-export or working for famous shipping companies, I also really thought about what it would be like if I had to drive a truck. And of course, I always don’t have my answer to that question because, at that time, I can only evaluate those issues objectively, and that’s not enough until I find the answer. This game is called Truck Simulator, and it really answered a lot of my questions at that time about becoming a truck driver. This is a game that will allow users to play the role of a driver who specializes in driving all types of trucks, from small to large ones. And, of course, what I learned in this game is that this is an extremely risky and difficult job. When I see drivers in this game having to perform extremely dangerous tasks, such as driving continuously day and night to deliver goods to the specified destination on time, maybe that’s when I quit. My intention is to become a container truck driver.

Given the nature of the game, I think it is obvious that the game provides players with an extremely large map so players can carry out their transportation to the location. As I said before, driving is sometimes very hard and requires the driver to drive continuously at night or during the day; surely, you can understand that the map in this game is very large. What level? Besides, the map also has many details added to increase the authenticity of the game, including details about the railway infrastructure and the city’s traffic regime.

Huge open-world map: This map has probably been completely recreated based on the most realistic map of the United States.
Accurate highway systems: Everything here is recreated vividly and realistically, from wild forests to crowded cities like New York City.

This is probably one of the few games that I consider less of a game. When playing the game, the feeling it gives me is extremely realistic, as if this were a career guidance app or an app specializing in explaining the truck driving industry. In this game, we will initially start out as trainee drivers who can only perform easy tasks, first by carrying trash to the garbage dump, and then we become skilled drivers responsible for transporting aircraft assembly parts to the gathering place.

Start as a rookie driver: You will experience the journey from a trainee truck driver to a seasoned driver.
Unlock licenses, skills, and gear: Developing your career in this game will also mean you need to spend more money on necessary tools, and it will also show that your skills have increased significantly.

ADVANCED SIMULATION GAMEPLAY

Because this game will give us the most realistic view of the work of a truck driver, it will definitely also show you the problems that drivers may encounter. One of the problems that I can mention is that our car has been operating for a long time continuously, leading to overload and it needs to be repaired immediately. What is worth mentioning here is that vehicle repairs sometimes happen right on the transport route, enough to show us the hardship and pressure of this truck driving profession.

Realistic vehicle maintenance: Driving in the game is extremely realistic because you not only drive but also have to learn how to control the vehicle properly.
Weight management simulation: Choosing a vehicle to move here also requires you to carefully calculate the exact weight and size of the goods.

What surprised me about the game is that the game allows us to compete with other players in many ways. We can compare delivery time, vehicle damage rate and even whether the goods are damaged during transportation.
